Yamaha Jet Skis

Yamaha attempted to manufacture watercrafts in the 1960s, but it wasn’t until the mid-80s they produced personal watercrafts. Yamaha jet skis have been hot items since their decision.
There were a few reasons why Yamaha chose to start producing personal watercrafts. First off, at the time the popularity of Kawasaki jet skis were on the rise. This gave Yamaha the idea to produce similar vehicles.
The first personal watercraft on the market for Yamaha was the WaveRunner 500, or the Marine Jet 500T. This was one of the very first sit-down water vehicles. Many people were crazy about the idea of being able to drive these types of vehicles for longer periods of time.
Not too long after, Yamaha changed the name to WaveJammer 500, or the Marine Jet 500S. This vehicle gave you a lot of control with the small hull and steering mechanism.
Throughout the 90s, the sit-down model continued to be poplar. Because of this, Yamaha can out with another WaveRunner, the III 650, or the Marine Jet 650TL. And the cool thing with this model was the fact that you could ride up to three passengers.
The speed, high-performance engine, and larger hull made this item a hit. This model became the predecessor of future Yamaha jet skis.
Before another WaveRunner came into the picture, there were many other models that surfaced. One of them included a stand-up jet ski (Super Jet 650). There were other great models in the 1990s. Some of them included the WaveBlaster 700, the WaveRaider 700, the WaveVenture 700, and the WaveBlaster II.
Since the late 90s, Yamaha focused on power, style, and size. So, the later models like the WaveRunner GP 1200, the WaveRunner XL 1200, WaveRunner SUV, and the WaveRunner XL 1200 Ltd had these awesome characteristics.
Since this time, Yamaha has produced higher-performance watercrafts that are stylish and affordable. Some of the latest models in the WaveRunner GP 1200R, the WaveRunner XLT 1200, the WaveRunner FX140, the WaveRunner GP 1300R, the WaveRunner FX Cruiser High Output, the WaveRunner VX Deluxe, the WaveRunner FX Cruiser High Output, and the WaveRunner VX 700.
