Jet Ski Prices – New and Used

Are you in the market for a personal water craft? Thinking about going for a new one? If so, then there are some things you should consider before making the plunge.

First and foremost consider that the market is currently saturated with an overabundance of used jet skis that are looking for a new home. Just as buying a car most people want to go with a new vehicle simply because they do not want other people’s problems.

Jet skis are no different, as far as how it is viewed. Yet, one must remember that a jet ski is usually not used every day as a car would be; therefore getting a used personal water craft that is in good condition and quite possible almost new; is very easy.

New PWC’s will vary in price, depending on the make, model and options. Some can even go over the $20,000 mark.

On the other hand, used Jet Ski prices can range anywhere from a $1000 and up. Jet Ski prices can go from one extreme to another, so with that in mind it is recommended that you do some basic common sense research. What type of options do you need?

Are you going to be using it every weekend; less often or more often? Are you interested in a two person watercraft? Will it be used in salt water or fresh water? These questions can be a very important part of your purchase and bear heavily on the price.

Take into account the money that can be saved if a used personal water craft is purchased; instead of new. If you are only going to be using your Jet Ski less than a few times a month then buying used can be a good way to go.

Used Jet Ski prices make them an impassable item. No one wants to spend $10,000 on something they can get for $5,000; that is just a natural part of being a budget conscience person.

Check out the market, look in your local newspaper, try some online classifieds sites; such as Craigslist, Kijiji, and Olx.

Expect to see Polaris, Kawasaki, Yamaha, and Sea Doo, Wave runners, Honda and more. One word of advice is to get a test ride prior to purchasing, if at all possible, or a written guarantee from the seller; that it is in good working condition. Then enjoy the cash you have saved by acquiring a used Jet Ski.
